The chronicles of a complete redesign

I worked closely on this FT title with the editorial, marketing and in-house development teams of the Investors Chronicle magazine to gather requirements, develop the IA/UX and lead the digital creative for the website redesign. I managed another designer on the project, liaised with various third parties who supply data into the website and delivered a website with strong character and clarity in a world of complex content. The last I heard, subscriptions and advertising sales went shooting up as a result of this complete redesign and build.

I worked on Associated British Foods' Annual Report website in late 2010 while contracting for Conran Design Group. This was released at the same time as the beautifully produced printed report that led the way in terms of art direction, all by CDG.

Looking at things differently

With art direction by Conran Design Group, CFC's site features playful photography supporting the tagline 'We look at things differently'. As part of this rebrand, I created the UI design which showcases the photography and provides company information.

The KPMG Annual Report appears in print and online at the end of each financial year. I worked with Conran Design Group on the website project and we delivered a vibrant, content-rich, AA-level accessible site.

My role on this project involved re-working some inadequate information architecture we inherited at the start of the job, creating the design concept and designing the site templates for the Sharepoint build. Tesco's intranet team were happy that we'd met their brief to create an engaging, visually-rich environment in which to encourage employmee involvement in the business.
